Bouteille.
Bottled Nov 2006. Aroma of hops and malts. Red color with slight haze. Good foam retention. Roasty and nuts flavor very present. Bitterness a bit to sharp. To carbonated for the style. BitchesBrew (716) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 21, 2007
[bottle] Pours a very slightly hazy red/amber color. A soapy tan head stands up nicely. Odd aroma, english hops, yeast and plastic? Weird. Malty flavors, a nice roast flavor more spicy hops. Pretty strong carbonation. Finishes with some more plastic/bandaid flavors. Other than that, mostly drinkable. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 5, 2006
[079-20061028] 500mL. Hazelnut-mixed-with-QC-bottle-conditioning aroma. Cloudy, brown body with a big quick light brown head. Lightly nutty flavour, fairly smooth, bit of a bitter kick from the bottle along with some bandaid notes, and an OK aftertaste. Medium palate. Would be OK to repeat. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2006
Bottle shared with HogTownHarry. Pours a hazy dark ruby-brown with a large lasting foamy off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, spices, hops and some sweet fruit. Hoppy fruity flavour with some malt, quite a lot of spices and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good, I enjoyed it.

Bottle. Pours a nice rusty dark orange with a good-sized ice cream cone like orange tinted head - looks wonderful. Aroma is very dry, very dusty, with those hops that always seem like dry pepper to me. Some nice slightly sweet malt as well. Taste is all hops at first - very bitter, lots of dry fruit, and a much lighter malt taste than I was expecting (not really any sweetness that the aroma suggested). This finished quite biter as well, and has a very interesting linger of hops, pepper, and ash. This one got me off guard, but I let the entire bottle empty before settling on a rating and my overall impression - I liked it and would gladly have another, I’d juts prefer a little more body, that’s all. UPDATED: JUL 19, 2006 Bottle (500ml). Shared with blankboy, his bottle. Deep clear ruby-copper with a large lasting foamy-sticky straw-coloured head. Dry, peppery-yeasty aroma, light sweet dusty malt, a hint of fruit, quite bitter but almost sweet cherry fruitiness emerges as it opens up and the sharp yeast diminishes. Bitter taste, like appleseed, light fruit, not much malt, the hops are very dry, almost stale - long somewhat harsh bitter aftertaste. Light bodied, very astringent, almost burnt bitter linger - not bad, but the bitterness is a little off-putting, needs more funky/pungent UK hop character. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUN 5, 2006
Sampled at Mondial 2006. The body was cloudy orange with a yellowish colored head. The aroma was classic fuggle stype iced tea and mild apples. The taste was decent bitter with apples. There was also some grpefruit in the finish that made this interesting. Smooth. A good session beer. Boutip (6375) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 3, 2006
Bottle: Poured a light brown color ale with a foamy head with good retention. Aroma of bitter hops is clearly detectable. Taste is also quite bitter with some subtle sweet malt in the background. Hops are a bit too metallic for my taste and would have preferred a more citrus presence. Not bad overall but not a beer that will standout either. rsans (125) - Pont-Rouge, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 23, 2005
500ml Bottle. If you enjoy grapefruit this one is for you. Cloudy reddish amber color with a light brown head that dissipates very quickly. Hardly any lacing on the glass. Some yeast particles. Good carbonation. A faint aroma of grapefruit, toffee and roasted malt. Taste is definitely heavy on grapefruit. It has a dry finish
and a very bitter after taste. A very different beer one which I believe you have to develop a taste for it over time.
