Draught, 8% @ the brewpub. Pours slightly hazy dark ruby / copper brown with small pinkish beige head. Mild aroma of fruit and yeast, with some malty notes. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with hints of caramel and bread and vinous, fruity touches. Acetic and estery finish. Boozy notes. Drinkable but more interesting than enjoyable. 210715

Not sure if this is really a beer. Did they just make a shandy with sangria and beer or was it brewed together? Either way, the end result is okay, but nothing spectacular. Red, sweet, vinous.

on tap at brewpub. murky dark reddish with a disappearing off-white head. loads of grapes, tannins, light roasted malts, some spices. something like malted wine. soft carbonation, medium body, short but noticeable grassy-citrusy finish.

tap at the brewpub - Pours ruby red with minimal head and a very fruity aroma including ample cherries and a hint of grape. It tastes of sweet grapes and cherries with the latter lingering especially in the finish. Carbonation is very soft. I liked this one.

Bouteille 750 ml. 9,5%. Couleur brune rousse. Arôme de raisins, fruits et malt. Goût de sangria maltée. Bonne.

750 bottle. Pours a deep pink/red with a foamy strawberry milkshake head. Fresh fruit on the nose, raspberries, with some underlying malt notes. An interesting fusion of red wine and beer, each accenting the other. A successful experiment in my opinion.

[2695-20100113] 1pt9.4floz bottle. Sweet fruity cherry raspberry aroma. Hazy, dark amber red body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Fruity raspberry tartness continues in the flavour with a little plastic toast. Medium body. Interesting fruity characteristics.

My bottle [750ml] shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, jerc, mabel & GregClow. Pours a murky orange-red with an average size diminishing foamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, slightly sour fruit, yeast, light spices and light champagne. Flavour’s not as good: Tastes of Champagne, wine and sour fruit along with light spices and citrus. The more I drink it the more I get used to it. Average bodied. Not bad, it grew on me, just O.K. in the end.

2009-01-13. Pinkish touch to a dark amber body and a pinkish beige head. 3+ Aroma is slightly odd, fruity character, light alcohol. Flavour is similar, fruity raspberry/light red wine like character. Odd finish. Average palate. Alcohol is hardly noticed. Not unpleasant but a bit odd, not sure I would want a bottle to myself! Bottle shared by Blankboy.
