Bottle (from Cracked Kettle). Deep reddish brown colour with huge beige foamy head. Aroma is at first very much licorice, then turns into spices and a lot of citrus fruits. Flavour is quite much licorice along with spices. Not that much fruityness in the flavour. Some mildly burning alcohol in the aftertaste, otherwise alcohol is very well hidden. Superb. omhper (25723) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 23, 2013

Hazy brown color; large head with short retention. The aroma is mild, with malt, caramel, yeast, vegetables. The body is thinner than expected; there is caramel flavor, a touch of chocolate, but also some liquorice, vegetables, spices (anise and cinnamon), herbs; ordinary bitterness, and some alcohol warmth in the end. Nothing special.
Med brown, thick head. Very fruity, figgy, brown sugar, light raspberry syrup. Sweet but light, with dark sugars, fruits in syrup. TBone (18212) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2007
