the aroma is fruity with shades of cherry, bubblegum, candy, yeast and some other berries... the taste is fruity with notes of cherry, lollipop, bubblegum, toffee and apple... sweet and dry aftertaste... kraddel (8727) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 13, 2016
Pours rather clear, peachy red. Small white head. Smell is tough, intense, dusty cherry, very full, not very natural. Taste is Sugar, oxidation, cherry-chemicalness. Very harsh sugary, not even as intense fruited Sugar like beers this type usually have. Just awefull. Alengrin (5629) - BELGIUM - AUG 26, 2014
Sweet top-fermented cherry beer based on La Botteresse Blonde with above average strength for the style. Firm, very thick, moussy, pale beige head, deep murky burgundy colour, not unlike raw beetroot juice. Fruit in the nose, cherries of course but in a natural way, no noticeable extracts, blackcurrant, plums, apple, lemon, honey, earth, dough, caramel, vague cheesy hops. Soft taste, bit milky mouthfeel, ’real’ fruit sourishness, no cloying sweetness or artificial lemonade as so often in this style; light malty base, fruit quickly diminishing yet remaining present in a subtle way, mild and brief hoppiness in the finish. Weird kriek, a bit restrained on the fruit side and perhaps a bit low in body, but at least not artificial or sickly sweet and no other obvious flaws, at least not in the sample I tasted. sebletitje (10282) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 13, 2011
Bouteille 33cl @7%
cuivre opaque, col blanc-rosé mousse effervescente qui disparait vite.
Arôme de cerise avec fleurs de houblon, la cerise rappelle un peu ce fruit confit et reste assez faible;
Pinball (12224) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 24, 2011
bottle from beer planet.
hazy red, small white head.
aroma is red fruity, sourish. however, dry and somewhat refreshing.
flavor is red fruits, malts, alc. bitterness (but not as much as i had feared, given the 8.5%). appears a bit watery.

Bottle, bought @ EG.thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 29, 2010
Pour is redish orange amber with a small, fizzy, pink head. Aroma has mild sour malt, some clear cherries, light marzipan, soft notes of cellar and mildly vinious. Medium, prickly carbonation, fair dry and slightly watery palate. Flavour is mildly tart, some cherries, notes of cellar, some malts. Mild sweetness, some tartness. Not all bad, but only okay.
(33cl bottle best by October 2010 thanks to bu11zeye) cloudy copper-orange with few bubbles. Nose is funky, barrel, tart cherry, maple, smells awesome! Taste is lightly acetic, black cherry, woody, nice mild astringency. Thin body but makes up for it in the cherry linger. bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 23, 2010
