Hopverdju (1825) - BELGIUM - DEC 27, 2017
Donkerbruin bier met rode gloed en ecru/beige schuimkraag. Geur: geroosterde mout, goed gebakken brood, karamel, ietwat noten. Smaak: bitterzoet, karamel, Grany zachte koekjes muesli-chocolade, pruimen, gedroogd fruit, vijg, zacht alcoholisch. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Medium volmondig. Afdronk: bitterzoet, licht alcoholisch, licht fruitig. Lekker!

Mycket gott!

Svesse (9313) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2017
(Bottle) Dark reddish brown colour with firm, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with caramel, chocolate, black rye bread, orange peel, coffee, dried fruit, spicy aromas of tamarind and some treacle. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, caramel, dried fruit, marzipan, orange peel, hazelnuts, black rye bread, spices and a sweetish finish with a mild bitterness and a touch of alcohol. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Soft and rounded mouthfeel for its strength. Well made, but feels like it’s lacking some of the complexity of the original version. Nice one.

LLaurin (555) - Motala, SWEDEN - MAR 2, 2017
Pours nicely in dark amber with lots of coffee and cocoa notes. Nose disappears after 1 to 2 minutes almost completely. Would gain from storage likely. Taste is sweet and malty but also looses with time. Palate short and sweet.

mikske79 (1790) - Puerto Plata, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - FEB 11, 2017
Fruitige geur, donkerrode kleur met een mooie schuimkraag. De smaak is heel vol, zoals een winterbier.

Jerre (3899) - Waregem, BELGIUM - FEB 5, 2017
Thuis geproefd van 33 cl op 28.01.’17. Uitzicht: bruin met lichtrode schijn en een gebroken witte tot beige schuimkraag. Aroma = donker fruit, zoet, caramel, chocolade, zachtgebrande mout. Tussen medium en volle body. Smaak: zoetig, chocolade, tikkeltje koffie, donker fruit, gebrande mouten, caramel, alcoholic toets, zoet met bittere nasmaak. Best lekker biertje.

DocLock (11301) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2017
Bottle from Whole Foods PM. Pours hazy brownish ruby with whitish head. Nose was spice, dark fruit, mild yeast. Tasted malty, figgy fruit, with spice notes, mild choc, nuts.

Hopmaestro (1910) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JAN 27, 2017
Sweet aroma with figs, raisins. Unbalanced dark fruits and nutmeg. A little sharp around the edges. Nuts and marzipan.

Turtles (3299) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 11, 2016
330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear chestnut with hints of ruby, lively and long-lasting tanned head, good lacing. Alcohol up front in the aroma, perfumed, sweet caramel malty and nutty. Highly carbonated, aggressive bubbles, harh mouthfeel. Alcohol also up front in taste, caramel, sweet dried fruit and herbal. Warming finish.

Nicke80 (861) - Södertälje, SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2016
33 cl bottle from systembolaget. Pours amber with big head. Fruity caramel aroma with malty caramel and toffee taste. Nice but alcohol hits through.
