Draught @ 9th Belgian Beer Weekend, Brussels. Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, moderate malty, caramel, orange, lemon, toffee, light licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (010907) yespr (44706) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 8, 2008
ZBF2008: From tap. Pours dark brown with a lacing tan head. Annis seed spiced aroma, light liqourice to peppery aroma. Flavour is much the same. Too overly spiced, looses balance to the mild caramel malt base. Ungstrup (37231) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2003
The aroma is slightly sweet with notes of yeast, redcurrant, and other berries. The color is an unclear red, and it has a small fast disappearing head. The flavor is very sweet, soft, yeasty, and complex - yet boring - it misses some kick (it is too soft). Not a beer that I'll go back for. joergen (27970) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2007
Hazy orange red coloured with an off white head.
Aroma of yeast, spices, fruits and dried fruits.
Flavour of caramel and fdried fruits. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 7, 2006
Bottled. Dark amber colour, mediumsized head. Aroma spice, plummy, raisins and some hoppy notes. Flavour is smooth, sweet malts with hints of raisins, plum and some acidicness in the finish. The acidic part is a bit unpleasant, otherwise a nice brew.

Bottle. Best before 2005. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a tan head. Sweet malty spicy aroma with hints of dark fruit. Sweeet malty spicy dark fruit flavor. Sweet malty and spicy finish with dark fruits in the aftertaste. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Dark, reddish bronze colour with a small, off-white head - surprisingly small actually. Huge bottle sediment. Even the bottleneck is full of yeast although this has been stored upright for quite some time. Aroma of yeast and some notes of overripe fruit - plums I believe. Flavour is sweet’n’sour with some noble rot and notes of caramel and honey and some sweet fruit. Rather vinous with a warming alcohol. Gets better and better as it warms. 280805 omhper (24963) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 24, 2002
Burgundy. Malty and rich with faint caramel aroma.

Sweet and strong. Caramel and toffee notes. No bitterness. A bit heady.
Full bodied spiced brown ale. Flavors of coriander, orange peel and allspice. Thumbs up.
