Sparkling pale golden, sparkling lightly, big white frothy head. Mildly sweet aroma, bit chalky, soapy, cooked fruits, yeast, mild pepper. Light body, semidry, crisp, long fruity finish. Ok, flavor and palate work well, easy to drink, fresh.

MelvinKalksma (1719) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 25, 2016

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, hops and spices.

Appearance:
Hazy golden beer with a slight/medium white/off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and Belgian yeast; ends slightly dry with hops and spices.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. A Belgian Strong Ale with spicy yeast tastes so great if it is balanced.

From a 33cl bottle, pours a amber color with a nice creamy white head. Aroma of malt, honey and herbs. Flavors of malts, dry grass, straw, herbs, spices, honey. Nice texture, grainy and sparkling. Nice boozy feel with more complex taste of sweet and slight bitterness of resinous finish. Quite tasty and enjoyable.

Robe blonde foncée. Nez assez marqué par le malt et les levures sur un fond de houblon. Bouche sur le fruit et la fraîcheur, une fine bulle et une finale raffraîchissante. Une bière de soif

330ml bottle. (7.5% ABV) Pours a hazy gold with a huge, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet fruity aroma of lemon, banana, stone fruit, bready malt, Belgian yeast, coriander and clove. Sweet flavour of lemon, orange, apricot, green apple, bready malt, Belgian yeast, coriander and grain with a dry, tart, bitter, alcohol finish. Medium body with an oily texture and lively carbonation.

Clear pale gold, large aerated white head, spiralling cascading torrent of bubbles. Very ’belgian’ aroma - slight clove and funk, pepper, hint of banana. Nutty malt flavour with light caramel sweetness, a little pear, some funk, light tartness, dry finish. Light bodied and prickly on the tongue. Very solid belgian blond.

Muggus69 (2723) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - APR 24, 2016
330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. BB31082017 Hazy apricot-gold body, pours a big dense white foam. Restrained aroma - doughy malts, apricot nectar, stewed apple, peppery spice & clove. Thick palate, creamy carbonation, booze draws and dries things out. Body delivers a bit more - stacks of sweet pale malts, cereals, dough, savoury spice, pear & apricot & apple esters. Moderate bitterness & dry subtle booze finish. Tidy Belgian blonde.

superspak (6000) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - APR 4, 2016
UPDATED: APR 9, 2016 330 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/30/2014. Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, coriander, light pepper, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and compelxity of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, coriander, light pepper, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, apricot, pear, apple, coriander, light pepper, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitter/spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and lightly grainy/creamy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Belgian strong pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Malty aroma, very intensive. Appearance is not the strong side of the beer very clear with a note of red. Also a very intensive malty taste. A bit over carbonated. Its an interesting beer to try.
