An unclear light orange beer with a nice light orange head. The aroma is sweet and very wheaty, but also with some notes of yeast and oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of oranges, coriander, peach, and alcohol, leading to a dry wheaty end. It has a nice body. I like the present Hoegaarden Grand Cru better than this. joergen (28720) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 18, 2006
Hazy yellow coloured with a lasting white head.
Fruity aroma with notes of spices and citrus.
Fruity flavour of spices citrus and hops.
Very good witbier, tastes more like an abbey tripel than a witbier. TBone (17782) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2005

Hazy pale yellow, small white head. Wheaty, yeasty nose. Sweetish, wheaty. A bit peppery aftertaste. Refreshing. Funny that when I rated this I made a note that this is "sweetend version of Hoegaarden" :)
Draught Good white head, fast gone; hazy grain-yellow, milky colour. Coriander, wheat and citrus nose. Fruity (citrus), wheat and coriander again in the taste, rather sweet. Just a little sourishness from the fruity character. Slick MF, well filled. This serious body is the only thing that betrays the real ABV, as in comparison to an ordinary white. Once, Hoegaarden GC was the ONLY beer I could recognise on any blind tasting. InBev professionaly ruined it, but this, IMO, is not the same neither - it’s more like a super-strenght original Hoegaardse witte on draught. caesar (7165) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUL 31, 2005
Draft, In de Wildeman. Hazy yellow color, medium head. Aroma of hop, bit sour, some hay and citrus. Taste is not as banana like as a true belgian white, and the recreation of the Hoegaarden Grand Cru is also not a succesfull description. It is somewhat in between a Grand Cru and a La Chouffe, at least that’s how I would remember this brew.

Mostlikely I had this one on tap last night. At the bar they called thee brew 3fourquet... Well there are more fourquets. When I read the descriptions of others, it was this one. Aroma was yeasty, citrussy, spices. Much triple like indeed. Hazy, yellow coloured with a firm, white, lasting head. Taste is sweet and fresh. Yeasty, citric (oranges and lemon). I would not identify this one as a belgian white. Quite strong on the alcohol. (hidden though). Balanced taste. Quite pleasant. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - FEB 22, 2006
Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Hazy yellow coloured. Yeast, toffee and yoghurt in the aroma. Sweet and sour flavour of yoghurt and yeast. Bart (2937) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 22, 2006
Draught, at Antwerp’s Bierpassion weekend. Hazy yellow to light orange colour with a large white head. Little sweet yeasty aroma, some citrus hints. Ful body, quiet strong for a white beer (is it??) Nice balanced finish, somewhat alcoholic. Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - JUN 29, 2005
Sampled from draught at 6th Bierpassie Weekend, Antwerpen, Belgium.lello4ever (1114) - ITALY - APR 10, 2015
Thick white head, hazy grain colored body. Sweet and somewhat candied yeast and citrus aroma, rather tripelish. Grain and lots of yeast in the flavor. Quite sweet and a little cloying. Tones of hay and citrus.
