Unclear dark amber colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, smoke notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a long duration, hop bitter, caramel, grass, smoked notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a dense and chalk white head. Light frity hops aroma. Flat fruity hops flavour, almost watery. Seems almost dead. Watery and slight dry finish. fiulijn (21214) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 2, 2006

A nice reddish amber ale witha thick light moka head. A nice fresh hops in aroma with light caramel malt. In mouth, a pleasant light IPA with British styled hops, but overall rather light and watery. On tap at brewery, mid Nov. 2006.

Comments: Very dark and foamy, feeling English enough, yet sharply hopped and dry. Very cold service temperature! Cask-like palate, almost flat, yet tremendous head.
Sweet hops mix, Mandarin, orange, some pine, bit citrus, pale malts, touch of biscuit. String bitterness, hiding something? Light body for sure. Astringent ending. A shame, it has a welcoming quality. Bit simplistic perhaps. Well, and too bitter. (On tap at the brewery) jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAY 22, 2006
Bottled. Aroma is sweetish, floral and typical cascade hops. Hazy, orange color, off-white head, fair lace. Sweet, light bitter, very floral, grass finish. Light sticky start and dry finish. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - DEC 24, 2005
UPDATED: APR 30, 2006 Better in taste, very strong the hopy aroma, the flavor is a little biter, but is nice, still being a little soft. It is called in the bar "Tostada". And it is available.
Earlier Rating: 12/24/2005 Total Score: 3.2
God, nice natural flavor, but it was too flavorless, the name in the bar is "Rubia", not I.P.A., so, I do not know.
