2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled, from La Belga, Mexico City. Hazy pale amber, mid sized head. Fruity nose with plenty of cardamom. Very sweet with above medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Sweet, fruity buttery malt with some caramel, plenty of cardamom. Low bitterness. Too sell this as a "pilsner de bohemia" is outstandingly confusing and lead to some initial disappointment. As a caramelly, fruity spiced lager it certainly has its advantages.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear golden colour, white head that leaves lacings on the glassware. My impression is that there’s some yeast, but mostly fennel on the nose, but I find it hard to describe it’s aroma. Taste is on the sweet side, but particularly spicy. It adds some bitterness to the finish, but the bitterness strikes me as inappropriate and somewhat foul tasting. I think the brewery should have props for trying to make an interesting beer here with some unconventional combinations of flavours, unfortunately I don’t feel they pull it completely off as the result don’t leave me with a craving for more.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not a good pilsner for me, it lacks bittnerness, and i didnt like the flavor the "cardamomo" spiced added. also a bit thin and a bit salty. the "cardamomo spice added a sweet and salty unpleaseant flavor.

Pours a greenish yellow with a good finger and a half of foam. Surprising eucalyptus, pine and grass aromas. This is not your average Pilsner. La Chingoneria continues making standout beers for a country that’s know for lousy Coronas and Tecates
