pours dark copper, red tint, slight haze, with a decent light beige head, some retention and lacing. toasted malts, roastiness, fruitiness, nuttiness, earthy yeast. weak malt body though, average carbonation. ok.

500ml bottle, April 15th. Dark reddish brown color with nice tan head. Nose of caramel malt and light malty taste with slight nutty aftertaste at the end. (Rating # 14)

Bottle 500ml
Aroma: sweet sugars , fresh alpha hop citrus with fruity behind. Decent.7-
Appearance: mildly cloudy red amber top. Creamy medium head.
Flavour and Palate: Medium bodied, Grainy sugary feel , mild carbonation. Mid accented with amber malts , hint of molasses. Leafy hop edge. Forgettable.

Finale assez douce. Bonne

cfrancis (3536) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 16, 2010
Fairly boring brew. Pour a dirty brown with a slightly off white head. Aroma is faint malt and caramel. Taste is again fairly boring, mostly malt and caramel. Some spices.

Arch (11) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 5, 2010
Aroma : Smell is quite fruity with a good sweet malt backbone. Smell is the best part of this brew. Appearance : Dark red, ruby ale with an inch or so of off-white foam that lasts for a little while and leaves no lacing. Taste : A bit of roasty, burnt caramel. Still, a bit of fruits. The hops are too much upfront and don’t feet so well. Herbal hops. Mouthfeel : Too thin. Little carbonation. Much less than expected. Overall : Typical amber ale with too much hops and some roastyness that doesn’t belong. Boring.

pours dark red with a titanic creamy head. Aroma is hops, dried fruit and yeast. mouthfeel is dry. flavor is an odd blend of overripe fruit sweetness and bitter bite without the body to back up either. Finishes dry and warming.
