3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured the beer from the bottle into a pint glass to sample. The beer was a semi-cloudy straw-lemon color with noticeable sediment and a large foamy head with good retention, and solid cling and lacing. Its aroma featured notes of straw, lemon, and wheat, and also had touches of fruit, citrus, and grapefruit for a pleasant blend. The taste was a nice lightly sweet fruity flavor with notes of citrus, and a somewhat sour and grainy effect as well. The beer had a good, thick palate, and was mostly dry with good carbonation and a filling mouthfeel. It was a very solid beer with good character and notes, but just short of excellent.
Grat belgian beer. Very mild without a bitter flavor. Most strong beers have a strong fermented sugar flavor and this did not.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma of pear, malts, raisins, spices. Medium body with average carbonation. Nicely balanced, light to medium sweet, light bitter. Dry-ish aftertaste. Beautiful, refreshing beer. rboozer (7) - - JUL 15, 2017 does not count

Amazing Belgian strong beer. The combination between the malts and hops is perfectly balanced. The re-fermentation on bottle is present faithfully to the ancient craft beers. vsyrbu (141) - MOLDOVA - JUL 3, 2017
Very rich aroma of fruits, citrus, spices. In taste all this is also and a little bit of bitterness with alcohol, which pleasantly warms. davedrinkinbeer (16) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JUL 1, 2017
Very good beer, and one of the best examples of a Belgian Ale. Beer is complex, spicy and fruity with a good hops mix. Very recommended beer.
