COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
La Choulette Ambrée is the classic amber version of a French bières de gardes. It has a wonderfully spicy aroma and is fullflavored, but effervescent and refreshing.

Leini (2054) - SWEDEN - JUL 2, 2017
750ml bottle. Amber body with a medium white head. Aromas of caramel, spices, floral notes and some burnt sugar. Taste is more spicy and grainy, with the sweet notes more in the background. Some notes of fresh wood and basement. A bit too much alcohol presence in the flavor though imo. Lively carbonated.

Nice amber color with slight head and slight lacing. Fruity, spicy and malty aroma followed by lots of malt flavor with some horse leather/must lingering in the background. Some phenolic and some esters notices as well. THis is similar to Victory Grand cru just not as strong or bold. THis is my first Biere De Garde but I really liked it and will try more in the future.

A nice light brown/red colour with a small head. Quite sparkling with a discreet salty flavour at the beginning, it flows easily in the mouth. Some strong malt and grapes aromas. A very good bear I would drink along bread with a sweet spread on it, possibly with peanuts or pork with a sweet sauce.

75cl bottle brought back from France. Nice dark amber appearance in the glass and enjoyed the complex flavours esp as it warmed slightly while drinking. Unfortunately my wife also loved it so I had to share the bottle!
