Low white head on top of a dark yellow body. Fruity, with a seemingly predominance of lemon. Spicy too. Strong but no alcohol taste. Very drinkable, but not quite my favourite Bière de garde. iambeer (255) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 27, 2005
The lack of alcohol taste was a good rate, espeacially with 7.5 %. Good head retention, and nice lacing. It was very drinkable and really nothing seemed to be off, but it just didn’t appeal that much to me. iam (369) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 16, 2005
Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a big foamy head. Floral hop aroma with a bit of hay smell also. Medium body. Spicy malt taste. thegreenrooster (4442) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 10, 2005
Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malty and musty. Flavor is malty, yeasty and very musty. Taste like the moss covered barn it was made in. Very earthy and floral. A very pleasing brew that will open your eyes to farmhouse ales. Well recommended. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2006
Thanks to my colleague Peter for bringing this back from France. Golden colour with a white head. The aroma and character of this 75cl bottle developed interestingly during the half hour I was enjoying it. My final impression was of a yeasty aroma and a rich fruity taste with sweetness, dough and spice and a background dryness. Good.

75 cL bottle, BB 4/25/07 (oops). Bready, lightly spicy aroma. Hazy orange tinged golden color with small bits and small bubbles. My pour was nothing like the picture, but being 8 months overdate may account for it. The white head was enthusiastic, but left rapidly. Medium bodied with creamy, slightly fizzy, carbonation. There’s biscuit, some heat down the sides of the throat, something of lush ripe stone fruit in a dry way, light spice, very smooth in the mouth. The finish is more dry than not, with something like citrus lurking around the edges. I could drink this indefinitely. shrubber85 (11452) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 27, 2008

Clear gold beer. Aromatic sweet and sour blonde with some caraway nutyness. Subtle carbonated bite. Fruity citrus undertone of lemon and orange. Sherbetty finish. A little bit different and very tasty.
