Bottle, best by ’06. Pours with a study head with aromas of dusty closet ( mothballs?) and caramel. Flavor has some toast and hay. Intersting to say the least. AmEricanbrew (6954) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - FEB 13, 2008
DBD 3-22-07. Black tea colored with a frothy white head. Earthy, musty nose with sweet caramel. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Has a dry, grassy, swampy moldy musty taste at first, with a light caramel sweetness taking over as the beer warms. Not too bad. 112606 hapjydeuce (1002) - Carlsbad, California, USA - FEB 11, 2008
Shared by DenverLogan at the Pizza Port Bottle Shop with wetherel, thanks for sharing! Slightly hazy blond with some initial rocky white head. Somewhat musty cellar aroma with pear and orange citrus notes with a noticeable yeasty undertone. Sweet fruity flavors are pretty straight up and to the point, with a lightly bitter finish and lots of carbonation. Not bad. wetherel (1888) - Cupertino, California, USA - FEB 10, 2008
Tasted at PP bottle shop. Bottle brought by Logan. Thanks! Light amber yellow color. Fluffy white head. A hint of sweet. Easy to drink. A hint of skunk. Green bottle I think. User37895 (3085) - - FEB 9, 2008
Pours an amber to copper color, decent slightly off white colored head, spotty lacing. The aroma was caramel, musty, nuts. Flavor followed suit, caramel nuts, a tad sweet, but somewhat lager-like clean finish w/ some bittering hops (not a lot of flavor from them, earthy, a touch of grass). This thing came across a lot like an altbier, the first stored french beer that has done so? Decent stuff, mouthfeel full and a little sticky.

Pours a light orange with a pretty, creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and lightly fruity. A little thin mouthfeel perhaps. Flavour is nice, lightly vinious and some malty sweetness. There are notes of tartness as well balncing nicely with the sweet graininess.
[975-20071215] 1pt9.4floz (Holiday Tasting 2007 @ Cole’s, Buffalo, NY). Strange boozy grass yeast malt aroma has a bit of fresh plant leaf. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Sweet boozy malt grain flavour has a hint of paint can. Boozy medium body. Awesome with Buffalo chicken wings.
