Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium amber. Aroma is moderately malty (cookie, caramel), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of apple/pear, peach, vinegar, and alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. hellomynameis (876) - Mayer, Minnesota, USA - NOV 18, 2004
Alcool on the nose, lively carbonation. nice malt taste withsome ops. Has a familiar friend kind of taste. It felt a bit harsh on my throat, and a bit too much alcohol i think. Sickboy282 (1114) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 20, 2005
Pours a golden amber hue with a small white head. Aromas and flavors of spice, malt, and honey. Ratman197 (14830) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 15, 2006
750 ml bottle pored a clear brown with a lasting amber head. Aromas of roasted malt, carmel and a hint of spices. Palate was medium bodied. Flavors of carmel, toffee, a bit of roastiness and some earthiness with a smooth lingering finish. Ungstrup (37576) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2006
A hazy amber beer with a thin light orange head. The aroma is malty with notes of wood, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits and wood. Somewhat boring.

Dark and hazy amber colour. Malty and nutty with hints of spices but somewhat boring... Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 13, 2007
Dark mahogany, almost brown. Light, fluffy head and some lacing. Aroma is full of sweet malts. Brown sugar and dark fruit, like prunes. A little heat with a hint of bitter hops and some citrus. The flavor is comprised of bitter chocolate and cherries. Almost like a Queen Anne cherry, but nowhere near as sweet. I guess that makes it nothing like it at all. Shrug. Plenty of malts there. The palate is rather lackluster. Thin and watery, no weight behind it. The finish is dusty and dry of caramel malts and fruit. thewolf (12594) - Kolding, DENMARK - JAN 17, 2008
Bottle. [thank you, Yespr]Rusty (1547) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAY 5, 2008
Pours a light orange with a pretty, creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and lightly fruity. A little thin mouthfeel perhaps. Flavour is nice, lightly vinious and some malty sweetness. There are notes of tartness as well balncing nicely with the sweet graininess.
Pours a transparent reddish amber with a large white head and lots of lacing. Aroma of malt, yeast, spices and caramel. Flavors of malt, spices, fruits, nuts and caramel. This beer has a slight mustyness as well. I was not impressed with this one, especially at $15 a pop. charlotte (5386) - rødovre, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2009
