750 ml bottle pored a clear brown with a lasting amber head. Aromas of roasted malt, carmel and a hint of spices. Palate was medium bodied. Flavors of carmel, toffee, a bit of roastiness and some earthiness with a smooth lingering finish. Ungstrup (37861) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2006
A hazy amber beer with a thin light orange head. The aroma is malty with notes of wood, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits and wood. Somewhat boring. LoveCaissa (873) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2006
Dark and hazy amber colour. Malty and nutty with hints of spices but somewhat boring... Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 13, 2007
Dark mahogany, almost brown. Light, fluffy head and some lacing. Aroma is full of sweet malts. Brown sugar and dark fruit, like prunes. A little heat with a hint of bitter hops and some citrus. The flavor is comprised of bitter chocolate and cherries. Almost like a Queen Anne cherry, but nowhere near as sweet. I guess that makes it nothing like it at all. Shrug. Plenty of malts there. The palate is rather lackluster. Thin and watery, no weight behind it. The finish is dusty and dry of caramel malts and fruit. thewolf (12629) - Kolding, DENMARK - JAN 17, 2008
Bottle. [thank you, Yespr]

Pours a light orange with a pretty, creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and lightly fruity. A little thin mouthfeel perhaps. Flavour is nice, lightly vinious and some malty sweetness. There are notes of tartness as well balncing nicely with the sweet graininess.
hazy burgundy with a large cream colored head. flavor is light. dark fruit with hints of toffee and cola. notes of tea leaves and herbs. forgettable. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 6, 2012
Bottled. Amber with a short-lived head; aroma of red berry, wet metal railings and dried pear; quite frothy, some pleasant orchard fruit but then a tinny tang with a hint of the wrong kind of funk. Could have used a more refined use of Christmas spices rauchbier (3899) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2012
Vintage bottle, BBE May 2000. Hazy red brown, minimal head and condition. Big woody phenolic oxidised nose with hint of figs, sweet malt and fruit and a touch of mouldiness. Soft and earthy in the mouth with touches of yeastiness and fruity figs, quite woody and peppery and obviously oxidised, lingering earthy bitterness, fruit and oak notes in the finish. Obviously a beer that will keep in bottle but maybe only for a few years. sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 18, 2012
Poured a clear amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of peppery, floral hops. Medium body, sweet fruity malt with a slightly dry finish. michcam8 (567) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 9, 2013
From a corked 750ml bottle. Pours a cloudy light brown haze, with a foamy white head. Aroma was not there so much. Picked up some toasted bread and alcohol. Taste was slightly better with some sweetness coming thru. Not much flavor on this beer. Would not purchase again.
