UPDATED: NOV 7, 2017 330 ml bottle-- nose is very muted. soft cutrus and pine. very much a theme here. not a lot of dry hopping or whirlpool. dark orange amber. thin white collar. taste is stone fruit and caramel. some bitterness but faint. clean, dry and some oil. more of an amber that is a little hoppier.

Følger fint i smaken.

cervmagpt (899) - PORTUGAL - NOV 23, 2016
Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 22A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 453 (BBF 11/2017). AROMA: predominant caramelized malt notes from age-related oxidation with a faint dried grass oxidized hop aroma. APPEARANCE: dark ambar color and clear. medium beige head with good retention. TASTE: medium caramelized malt notes from age-related oxidation, followed by faint dried-grass oxidized hop note. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with average carbonation. OVERALL: a double IPA that suffered from oxidation and an over-estimated shelf life.

I bought this bottle at Madrid, I drank in le Petit-Lancy with Fred. It is a pleasant IPA, all the things that you could expect: average carbonation, orange-brown body and troubled, thin foam, the taste is with hop, side of fruit with bitterness, it is nice and overall well balanced.
