McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - JUL 11, 2013
Bottle brought home from Rochefort. Funnily the bottle kind of exploded when we were opening it, but thanks to a fast reaction it was possible to save more than the half of it. It has got a hazy yellow colour with airy head and medium to smooth body. Nose of caramel and hops. Taste of pure white sugar, honey, light caramel, hay, red apples and light hops. Just way too sweet, expected a lot more from it. Not easy to drink and not quaffable or refreshing - more a liquer than a beer. pascalvds (1) - - JUN 30, 2013 does not count
Still searching for the rhum taste. Too sweet for this type of beer. I m used drinking better beer from silly brewery. JefVerstraete (3376) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - JUN 11, 2013
A lot of carbonation. Fruity beer but where is the rum? Too sweet in my eyes. Watery finish. Yage (88) - - MAY 10, 2013
Belga világos sör és a kubai rum megnyerő találkozása!!!
Kellemesen édes,erős alkoholtartalmú sör!!!

(Bottle, Brasserie Lombard, Brussels, 19 Oct 2012) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of bread, grainy malt and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with bread, dried fruit, sugar, flowers and a sweet, malty finish with low bitterness and a slightly weird white rum character. More than medium body, fairly sweet. A bit weird, but decent. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Pour is lightly hazed yeloow with a bubbly white head. Nose is lemon zest faint up front with a rubber cement tinge and floral hop in back. Light and stagnant. Overly sweet flavor with a bit of honey and lots of sugar. Lightly bitter in back with a puckering touch to it. Feel is creamy, moderate carb but not enough to balance, sandy texture and a thin finish. BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2012
33cl Bottle: best before sometime in 2013: poured into a ’Leffe’ chalice on 21st Aug 2012.
Clear blond, sediment left in the bottle, will have that after this live review.
Good full head of white foaming bubbles, plenty of carbonisation as the trail of small bubbles rise towards the head.
Sweet floral hop nose, sugar cane sweet in the taste, one of the sweetest beers I’ve ever had: corn and Belgian yeasts add to both the aroma and the taste, but I couldn’t find any rum (or raisins), only sweetness.
One small bottle is enough for a sitting: just a sweet brew (and I like the sweeter beers normally).
Foot note: even sweeter when the grist/sediment is added, the rum content might even have been hinted at!

Bright blond colour. Sweet aroma with some fruity banana tones. Thick texture, quite sticky, sugary. Aside from the sweetness this is quite plain. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - APR 20, 2012
Bottle from Beer Mania. Golden body with thick head. Looks, smells and tastes quite a lot like a Leffe Blonde but not quite there. Nose is sweet, malty. Taste is malty, strong and sweet, with rum in there definitely. Texture very prickly. Quite sweet finish with honey in there as well. Enjoyable.
