Poured clear pale yellow with a stable froathy white head. A beer with a nice blond-ale character and with a massive artifical sweetener-aroma profile. No thanks. Wrong, very sweet way of development - in my opinion.

Clear bright yellow to somewhat golden beer, big creamy head, dissipates fast. Little adhesive. Aroma: very faint, mainly sweet, some alcohol and some spices (probably from the rum). MF: ok carbon, light to medium body, watery to syrupy texture. Taste: a sh*tload of sugar, some sweet malts. Aftertaste: more of the same: sweet, then some spices and in the back of the throat some alcohol. I don’t think it’s the rums fault this beer sucks. It wouldn’t be very good without the rum either.
Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - OCT 13, 2010
Pours out of the bottle with a big white head on a golden body. The head sticks nice at the glass, colopases maybe a bit to soon. Smell is malts, spices, some sweet fruity. Very sweet, a bit earthy taste. Fruits and spices, malty. Don’t like it really, the taste is to much sweetness, unbalanced. jaghana (6165) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - SEP 12, 2010
Bottle 33cl. A clear golden beer with medium head. Smell is sweet, deep and honey like. Nice syrupy ale quite sweet with fruity and malty flavor, intense and long orange sweets smell note of vanilla and spices, well balanced. A nice triple beer near to Westmalle ones. A good experience, better than expected.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a white foam. Aromas are lemon and with candy. Spicy and spritzy with apricot. Flavours are sweet apricot and lemon. Quite jammy sweetness with a dry, yeasty finish. OK. Gary (2035) - West London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 19, 2010
The low scores given don’t coinside with me . This stuff was no worse than many other beefed up , boozy ,golden Belgian ales; ,A little soulless and predictable but nice enough. Has a very rich sweetness, caramely , that is united with spice and fruity peach like esters and lot of dryness. Eazy goin’ sipper. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 18, 2010
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pale golden with a big head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Sweetish, corn flavours. One for the zink. oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 3, 2010
Shared this one w/SkyCop32. Pours a medium golden yellowish color. Aromas of fruit, yeast and some pepper. Flavors are sour, yeasty, and a touch of sweetness at the finish. stouby (4692) - Holbæk, DENMARK - JAN 10, 2010
Bottle at home.
Clear golden beer with a huge lazing head. Aroma modrate to heavy malty (caramel, spicy notes of coriander and fruit). Flavor is very sweet. Body is quite thick. It’s much tripel like. I didn’t taste the rum either!
