GBBF Day 2. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, lightly sweet. Tangy citrus and tangy orange peel. Little hop spice. Trace of pine. Light finish. Tidy if unspectacular.
16oz can. 7/4/17 can date. Appearance: Deep golden orange, mostly clear with a light haze, and a moderate thick foam head and decent lacing.
Aroma: Dank, resinous, grassy hop aroma dominates, with a touch of grapefruit pulp and toasted malt.
Taste: Bready, caramel maltiness with a touch of toast turns spicy and grassy resin and a strong bitter finish with some grapefruit.
Mouthfeel: Medium to heavy bodied for the style, with a moderate carbonation.
Finish: Dry, sticky resinous bitterness remains on the tongue long after the swallow. Touch of toasted malt comes back retronasally.
Overall: Well made take on a true traditional American IPA. Has the resinous grapefruit character against a strong malt base that brings the body and balance of a traditional AIPA as opposed to West Coast evergreen0199 (3556) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2017

Clear copper pour with nice big white head. Good nose of citrus and touch of caramel. Flavor is a boost of hops that mellows out to a nice balance of malt. Scopey (16223) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2017
Cask gravity at GBBF. It pours clear copper with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is rich, sticky, oily, resin, pine, stewed orange, peachy, dank and leather. The taste is bitter, pine, resin, stickiness, oily, slick, alcohol sting, grapefruit, peppery spice, some sticky dank notes with a drying and resinous finish. Medium+ body, low carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Pretty punchy stuff. Good fun. Beese (3288) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2017
