Draft at the source courtesy of erway, thank you sir! Hazy golden color, small white head. Aroma has tangerine, tropical fruits, pine. Taste has more fruit, citrus, pine. Nice malt balance, so it’s not overly aggressive. Delicious. Leighton (21755) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2013
Can at ChrisO Holiday Tasting, London - thanks to Henrik (I believe). Pours perfectly clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Big citrusy hop aroma, some piss and pineapple, some orange. Medium sweet flavor with sturdy grass, orange rind. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Moderately resinous finish, dry pine, grass, citrus rind. Decent overall, pretty good balance. On tap at Falling Rock, pours a clear copper with a medium white head. Aroma brings out a wonderful fresh piney hop character and a dry biscuity malt backing. Flavour is clean as well, with tons of piney hops, some hop oils and biscuity malt. So piney and dry, with a wonderfully oily palate. Wonderful stuff. Hazy amber. Big hop aroma is earthy. A bit cheesy, too. Medium hops, earthy. Clean pale malt sweetness is good. The funny thing about this is that it does hit the right notes...and you can drink a lot of it. There’s no one thing that makes it, but it ends up being a damn good IPA.
