Bomber - the appearance is a clear rich golden yellow with a med off white head. The aroma is bold and layered with pungent grapefruit, juicy citrus, pine and some floral hop notes. Fruity, floral and bitter. Huge IPA flavors exuding massive bitter citrus, pine and juicy citrus all wrapped around a light malty body. I can definitely appreciate an in your face style of IPA. ajnepple (7104) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 19, 2017
On tap at Hops & Pie. Bright golden appearance with a lingering, bubbly white foam and sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma of hop oil, hop resin, pine, citrus zest and light malts. Similar flavor, adding moderate hop bitterness. Medium body. Dank and resinous with a slight boozy finish. Good. onceblind (10612) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 18, 2017
Clear bright golden with a thin sticky white cap. Big bright waxy piney citric bitter aroma. Full boozy palate with a bright sunshiney pale malt with bright bitter piney resins and acidic hoppy tones. A bit too brash and in yo face. Concealer (1269) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 13, 2017
Bomber. 7 days old. Clear gold with a soapy and thick white head that lasts in spots and laces. Aromas of melon, peach, tangerine, pine needles, sappy and oily pine resin, light dank, grapefruit, and biscuit. Flavor is tangerine, melon, orange, pine, dank, biscuit. Medium bodied, smooth with a dry end. Somewhat oily on the mouthfeel and there is some heat and bitterness in that finish as well.

Bomber, shared with my dad. Tropical fruit hop aroma with pine resiny and and a bit of citrus hop note. Pours cloudy golden colored with a large, soapy white head with excellent retention and very good lacing. Starts with a good amount of tropical fruit hop flavor with subtle citrus. Finishes very dry with bitter pine resiny hop flavors as well as a good amount of booze that lingers on the palate with the bitterness. Excellent to start, but very bitter and boozy on the finish. Bottle at home. Clear Amber pour, thin fast dissipating head. Aroma is tropical fruits, hops, a bit of pine and honey. Taste is pine, faint citrus and tropical fruit, slightly sweet, lots of bitterness. Still smooth, a bit of booze. Medium body, medium carbonation. Another great IPA from La Cumbre. 750 ml bottle shared by Willrunforbeer, dude, you killed it again tonight! Much thanks. Color is a lightly hazy gold with thin head. Aroma is zesty with light white grapes, tropical fruit, coconut, and booze. WillRunForBeer (2766) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 4, 2015
Well, the booze here is not hidden at all, you will notice it. The hops are alive and well but wow! Slap me in the face with some alcohol. Hard to hide the 10.6 percent. The tropical fruit and grapes are here in full affect with a lingering, strong bitterness. Light grassy hints, good but a harsh slap of booze. If this brewer could cut back on the malt bill and turn down the booze this would be a home run.
Wow. Bomber from IP trade with Joel, thanks! Pours orange gold with just a hint of off white head. Aroma is caramel, white grape, grapefruit and grass. This is caramel up front, with white grape and grapefruit pith hop. Grapefruit pith bitterness in the finish. This s does indeed leave your tongue coated with hop oil. merc7186 (3160) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - MAY 23, 2015
