Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is hazy dark yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with a strong note of apricot, other notes of Mandarin orange and candy corn.
Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, watery/syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic.
Yet another strike from this brewery, I’m afraid. This is about as far from the beauty of, say, Blackberry Farm Apricot Saison, as it can get. This is like an alcoholic apricot soda...a one-dimensional apricot bomb, candy-ish, and intensely sweet, with very little beer character or depth. An overpriced ($14) novelty beer drain pour, sadly. Saddening also that the word "saison" was even put on the label, because this is basically the exact opposite of what saison is about. onceblind (9631) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 6, 2016
Hazy apricot-y golden under a thick foamy white cap. Big farm earthy wheaty nose with very gentle apricot flesh, and the flavor is the same. Mellow yet bright apricot, Belgian barnyard wheat, light citrus ester, and a slightly funky saison finish. zoucrew102 (1869) - - JUL 30, 2016
750ml bottle. Sweet apricot aroma with spicy Belgian yeast, clove and some peppery notes. Pours cloudy orange colored with a thin white head that has poor retention but good lacing. Starts with sweet apricot flavor with notes of clove as well. Finishes dry with spicy Belgian yeast flavors and a nice peppery note at the end. Refreshing, bright saison. Bottle shared by a friend. Clear amber pour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of funk, apricot, malt and tartness. Malty and funky flavor with apricot character before a tart finish.

Sampled at GABF 2015 with Paul, Andrew, Ellen, Mel and Frank. Pours a clear orange body with white lacing. Nose is spice, grass, bread and faint fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied lots of carbonation and notes of spice, grains, peach, peppery yeast, grassy yeast and stone fruits. Ratman197 (14830) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 6, 2015
750 ml bottle poured a hazy orange with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of straw, apricot, pepper and yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, apricot, yeast and light pepper with a crisp dry lingering apricot finish. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - OCT 26, 2015
bottle, lots of great apricot flavors, very clean and rich. Sour and finished nice and tart. The base has very light saison flavors. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 18, 2015
From bottle at GABF 2015. Pour is clear orange with a big white head and sticky lacing. Faint stone fruit, very flora, light lemon, grass, doughy, herbal, and white pepper aroma. Taste is pretty crisp - doughy, straw, white pepper, some herbs, grass, lemony, light stone fruits, peaches, and funky with spicy finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Solid Saison. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 9, 2015
GABF 2015. A few pours. Somewhat murky golden yellow orange appearance with a cream colored head. Tons of fruit - apricot, peach, orange creamsickle- some vanilla, lightly funky. Refreshing and very easy to drink. Unique and fun.
