pours copper with thin vanishing head. Raisin bread nose, slight hops. Dry, hoppy, slight caramel on the palate. Overall, an American dry, hoppy version of Germany. By the way, this beer has not been retired.
on tap at the brewery taproom. Amber in color with a small frothy white head. Sparkling clear. Aroma is quite faint with some bready malt notes. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and creamy texture. Moderately sweet. I enjoyed this even though it wasn’t as intense as what I’m used to from La Cumbre. This would be an excellent beer for fall. beerisgoodforu (992) - Nørresundby, DENMARK - APR 27, 2012
Growler. Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is of grassy hops, grains, caramel and sweet malt. The flavor is again of grassy hops, cereal grain, caramel, sweet malt and some breadiness. The body is light with a crisp mouth feel. Overall an solid brew.
