COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from St-Roch grocery A: upfront coriander, a touch of citrusy cereal. App: hazy pale thick and lasting white head. Great lacing. T/p: med body with lightly acidic finish. Moderate high carbonation. O: I don’t mind coriander at all. Sure it’s dominant, but it’s good. The body is a bit too ample for my liking but for the rest it does it good.

My Bottom Line:
Loads of coriander, met by minerals, are offset by an airy mouthfeel in this effervescent Witbier.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the misty whitish blond.
-Carbonation is very high, which suits the beer well.
-Drinkability is high if you like coriander seeds. Otherwise, they need to tone down the coriander somewhat.
-Citrusy fruitiness is prevalent.

on tap on the premises. hazy very light gold pour with a small creamy white head offering. Lots of swert herbs, obvious coriander, orange juice sweetness, spicy and quite fruity belgian yeast action. moderate carbonation, light body - oily; sweet and softly spicy-citrusy finish. rather poor sweet overherbed witbier.

On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. A small, white head sits on top of an unclear yellow colored body. Banana, generic citrus, some orange and lemon in the aroma. It’s soft on the palate, medium to thin and rather dry. Some hay notes in the flavor, with oranges, lemon zest, banana and a pale malt backdrop. Medium length fruity finish. A refreshing and quenching beer, but also quite boring.150611

Fiche technique Style: Witbier Taux d?alcool : 5% Température: 4°C IBU: 6 Houblons: Saaz

On tap at the source. Hazy deep straw bubbly white head. Spicy earthy sweet bread. Not bad for a witbier.

Drank on tap at the 22th Mondial de la Bière on June 12, 2015. Almost claire straw blonde, small head. Raw wheat malt aroma, creamy fruit notes. Almost overwhelming raw wheat taste, but I do get use to it, nice cereal and fruit notes, semi dry finish. Very non traditional witbier!

On tap at brewpub. A hazy whitish yellow with a short lived white head. Aroma is fruity (oranges) and spicy. Flavor is orange, wheat, tropical fruit, coriander. Finish is herbal and spicy, lingering oranges. Light body, soft mouthfeel, weak to average carbonation. Fresh, refreshing and loyal to the style.
