330ml bottle from Beervana. Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a very big white frothy head that lasts for long and leaves a cute film. Aroma is fruity and spicy with the classic Huyghe profile. White wine, pears, white grapes, melon, prickly pear, apple and some flowers. Clear peppery and other spicy hints. Some phenolic hints. Taste is mostly sweet with a slightly bitter alcoholic-herbal touch. Fruity notes of apples and pears dominate with lots of alcohol punch complimenting and, sometimes, overpowering it. Not bad, but the alcohol is too present. Medium body, high carbonation, a bit spritzy. Finish is sticky. It leaves a long aftertaste. Not the best by Huyghe but a mildly interesting experiment. strap (912) - Sindelfingen, GERMANY - MAY 15, 2016

Bier met een een sterke smaak van gist. Geeft hem een bijzondere smaak maar mij iets te krachtig en muffig. I_LUV_BEER (231) - - APR 29, 2016

33cl bb06/2018, dutifully revisited after at least 5 blissfull Guillotine-free years... Bref: A fuming grave for heaps of fusely peach molding over, stressed yeast and sugary cereals. - Macro soap pores for a head, ridiculously sugar-sweet in aroma (old macrobakery peach tarts going stale in a Lidl bin), slick and coating the palate in unhealthy refined sugars, with an empty mid (artificial lemon, banana) and an obstructing metallic bitterness reminding me of cooked leek, unripe banana peel, old bread yeast and chestnut husks. - Even after three small sips at 3 different temperatures and the following drainpour this remains an instant headache in a milk ceramic vase. Well after the 200th celebration of the French Revolution, French and Hungarian exports seem to be booming...

UPDATED: APR 15, 2016 Good, nothing fancy though. The aroma is fruity but spiced. Has a well malted body with extra carbonation. Taste is bittersweet. Notes of cereal and citric fruit. BlueGaljoen (160) - FRANCE - APR 15, 2016
