Colour and sight: Golden blond, multigrain beer with a very persistent, lacing head.
Scent: A complex smell, with a citrus aroma, followed by hop aromas such as Saaz, Brewers Gold and Amarillo.
Flavour: Initially rather sweet, because of the alcohol. The intense taste and roundness mask the presence of high bitterness.

jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - MAR 17, 2002
Very fruity - apple and banana - aroma. Golden, white frothy head that diminishes fast, few lacing. Sweet, fruity banana flavors. Alcohol bitterness. Sweet sticky finish, alcohol bitterness and burning as well. Except for the aroma and the bottle quite boring beer.

Hazy yellow, with big white head. Some sour tang as well as fruit as sweet malt in aroma. Big fruity taste, slightly sweet/sour.

highlandlad (1480) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - FEB 10, 2005
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2007 A sweet, alcoholic triple-fermented Belgian ale. It poured a surprisingly pale lager-gold with a loose, lavish head and a suspension of sediment. The nose is sugary-sweet and heavy with fruit and peppery alcohol. There are notes of bubblegum and sour apples. Overall, the nose is piercing, thin and phenolic. In the mouth, it begins sweet and warm with some lemony notes in the middle and a dry Juicy Fruit finish. It’s smooth and rich, with a big peppery kick in the swallow. Tart finish. Despite, the triple fermentation there are still too many residual sugars for my taste. Palate is quite thin for this abv. Drinkable but by no means the best in its style. (Bottle)

Hazy golden color. Nice aroma, malty and spicy; light fruitness. Strong body, malty, a bit oily and alcoholic, strong bitterness, light final astringency (some wallnuts peel).

Bottled, alc. 9 % (BB 02/2007)
Sligthly hazy orange-golden color, big foamy yellow-brown head. Yeasty, sweetish fruity aroma. Sweet yeasty flavor, some honey and apricot. Medium-bodied. Hides alcohol suprisingly well, it is only sticking in the dry finish. A decent brew, but maybe a bit uninteresting.

Bouteille- Arôme de citron et de caramel, de couleur doré très légère, une mousse éphémère. Similaire à la Délirium.--Bottle-A caramilzed and citrus aroma, light gold appearance with fast dissiping foam. Reminds me of the Délirium.
