Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass ; from the fridge. Great aromatic beer, with a nice colour. Go for it

Bottle. Pours a hazy red colour with a one-finger bubbly beige head. Aroma of fruits and Coca Cola. Taste is of malt, caramel, fruits and spices. Sweet with a bitter finish. Something about this one is not my cup of tea (so to speak).

Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 17, 2015
So about 15 years ago me, my dad and granddad went for a walk into the region of Brasserie Grain d’Orge. After a visit we went home and I left with a smile, 6 bottles, glassware, flyers and coasters. After all these years I found them back in my cellar. Obviously they past prime a long tine ago but still among the livings. Something I can not say about my dad nor granddad. So this one goes out to their memory! Cheers dad! Cheers grandad! Bottle: Served in a Brice & Joup taster: Small lively creamy head. Beautiful cloudy ruby body. Aromas of wood, port, raisin, tobacco, light honey, light dust and some spft smooth candy notes. Flavours of bitters, light alcohol, malts, raisin and prunes, some wood, light port/vinous tints with a porridge sprinkle and a cookie touch. Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, darker fruits, malts and tobacco. Low carbo, light watery light creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. Decent after all those years!

Hazy reddish brown colour, beige head. Sweet aroma, pear. Quite sweet flavour, pear, syrup. Sweet finish, pear, caramel fudge. Bit too sweet for my palate, but well made and giving enough room for the Hervé pear syrup to shine through.
(from 33cL bottle @ the Grain d’Orge brewpub)

Dark red-brown colour. Aroma and flavour are both very sweet but it’s still quite palatable. Fruity, syrupy, caramel, brown sugar, malts.

3.4
blackisle (2528) - IJburg, NETHERLANDS - APR 25, 2015
Bottle 33cl. Cloudy light redbrown color, small frothy off-white head, dissipates slowly, good lacing; strong fruity aroma, pear, syrupy, candy sugar, honey, dough; taste light to medium sweet, light sour, pear; light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste light bittersweet, bit woody, herbal notes; doesn’t feel as a strong ale more like a light fruit beer.
