Bière d’une belle couleur rouge-foncés avec un col respectable. Nez de fruits des champs. En bouche une bière plus ou moins bien balancé mais qui est très raffraichissante. Corps faible a moyen Carbonation faible. Bière respectable mais sans plus...

On tap at Festibière de Québec. Pink with short-lasting white head. Smells fruity. Tastes like cereals, sweet fruits (blueberry? barely). Almost no bitterness at all. Medium-bodied. Good fruit ale.

Draft at brewpub. Flat looking. Totally glassy. Reddish. Aroma is off, with harsh phenols. Stinky. Tastes even worse, like a glue injection! Awfully off. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

on tap at brewpub. clear light golden, red-violet tint, with a small white head, little retention. grainy, light fruit esters, very light berries, maybe blueberries, herbal and citrusy hopping - light but present. hint of acidity. fizzy, almost aggressive carbonation, light body, decent citrusy finish. dry.

Originally rated in 2006. Sampled at the brewpub itself this past September. Poured a deep red-pink colour looking a bit like Kool-Aid (fruit punch). The head dissipated fast. Very mild nose of berry juices with hints of sourness. The mouthfeel was so thin, it was almost like pure water. Grainy cereal malt taste start and that was about it. No fruit and no sourness. Reminded me of Coors Light with fruit colouring.

Lubiere (13548) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 10, 2006
Hazy burgundy coloured with a thin white head. Sweet fruity aroma, but not of blueberry! More tart smelling, like a rasperry. In mouth, a standard blonde with light berry notes, light bodied. Rather plain, apart of the colour. On tap, Bieres et Saveurs, Sept. 2 2006.

Robe rose très claire surmontée d’une mousse blanche qui s’estompe rapidement. Arômes légers de malt et de fruits rouges. Saveurs légers et acides de bleuets.

A clear, reddish ale with just a little tint of purple, the head really stood out, it was bright and white like puffed rice.
It was fruity, blueberries and maybe a little banana and even pears, but it also smelled liked permed hair, something I found a few times in Beers with some sort of infection. But I guess that’s a risk you take brewing with something like blueberries, if you underboil you get the taste but risk infection, you overboil you lose the taste...
Slightly acidic and tannic (maybe he did overboil afterall), it was quite attenuated, the fruit only showing up in the aftertaste. It has it’s shortcomings, but it’s not the worst I ever had.
