On tap at the pub.

300ml poured from tap outdoor seating at the brewpub. Served as just Lanterne Ambrée with 5.2 % abv. A fair beige head gradually reduced to a patchy, lacing-layer. Hazy amber-red body colour. Brown malty nose, semi-sweet. Flavours of caramel malts and almond. Mid-sweet ending. Soft on the swallow. Medium bodied. Likable without greater enthusiasm (Strasbourg 26.07.2014).

fonefan (48648) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2012

Draught @ La Lanterne Microbrasserie, 5, rue de la Lanterne, Strasbourg, France 67000.

Unclear - hazy matt medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, vinegar notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sour malt, malty, sweet malt, light vinegar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121003]

ogivlado (7764) - Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 28, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Slight murky pale amber coloured, small off-white head, sourish nose. Also sourish taste with notes of caramel and random spices and touch of coffee. Just odd brew or bad batch but if this isn’t bad batch something is really wrong here. Very unbalanced.

jaghana (6014) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JUL 19, 2012
On tap, a cloudy amber brown beer with medium head and good lacing. Aroma is grainy with sweet caramel and light chocolate hints, nice unfiltered like body, light vanilla touch, low hops, very pleasant, easy drinkable, good.

MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2006
Draught, 5.2%. Sweet and fruity maltiness in the aroma. Unclear red/brown colour. Small light brown head. Fruity flavour, apricot. Mild bitterness at the end.

jonas (7549) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - OCT 22, 2003
Neutral aroma. Cloudy amber. Charcoal taste with a hint hop. Medium body. All in all a bit boring.
