On tap @ Saint-Bock. Hazy pale yellow with a small white head, moderate retention, leaving some lacing. Aroma is soft, citrus forward with cereals, herbal and peppery notes while banana is nowhere to be found. Taste is soft, mineral, citrusy, herbal and slightly peppery with very light herbal bitterness. Light body, but not too watery. Moderate carbonation. Dry and herbal finish with citrusy and peppery notes. Easy drinking and quenching. I would never know it’s fermented with bananas if it wasn’t written in the description.

En fût au Minautore au lancement. Couleur jaune assez pâle, mousse blanche, effervescence moyenne. Arôme de citrus, un peu de fruit (pas de bananes à mon avis), des touches de houblons. En bouche, excellente texture pour une si petite bière...wow, notes de céréales légères, levure saison pas très présente, notes de houblon qui sont très appropriées, certaines notes de bananes en douceur et une finale sèche. Extrêmement pintable. Extrêmement cool.

on tap at griendel, qc. almost cloudy extra pale yellow, inner banana meat, with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. citrus, all kinds really, their bitter peel and skin, harsh piney notes, mineral white wine dryness, no banana esters not even some akin phenolic esters from yeast, which is more than ok to me; lean peppery wheat-like cereals, yeast - not quite wild but not linear either, minerals. moderate carbonation, light body - watery; drying spicy-citrusy finish. a lot more citrus input than bananas - quaffable.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2017 On tap (01/11/17). Appearance: light yellow hay, with quickly fading head announcing weak carbonation. Smell: subtle notes of esters, and perhaps slight cereal notes. Taste: no bananas (which is perhaps a good thing), dry and smooth saison yeasts, lemon, with dry, mineral feel and quite smooth texture. No trace of bretts. Overall: surprisingly, the end result is a good saison/"white" session IPA, perfect for hot summer days.
