Served in can, from Artisan'Ale, Clausen, Luxembourg. My first California Common, truly a hybrid beer. German Lager yeast character with accompanying carbonisation. Otherwise nicely americany hoppiness, giving a subtle dryness, while the overall impression is that of refreshingness. A beer I would have again!

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Orange, very creamy head. Nose is odd sweet orange peel, almost boozy,… quite watery orange, empty orange peel, doughy, oddly low candy. Watery not good, top 50 on style here & kraddel says that it is perfectly to style according to BJCP so what do I know.

Pours rather clear, medium amber. Decent white head with medium, to medium-low stability. Smell is tad sharp ( green hops, not very aromatic, veyr grassy mostly, tad woody, resins ) Taste is highly bitter, fresh and a tad crisp in maltyness ( bready, very very mild toast ) . grassy, traditionnal hops, such as the style anticipates for. Perfectly in line for it's style according to the BJCP, accept for the color ( 7.3 in stead of the prescribed 10-17 ) Appart from that , I'd call this a pretty good example, and a good beer overall. Light spiced, grassy hoppy ending.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2017 Danke an anstei. Weich hopfiger Antrunk. Milde Herbe, karamellige Malznoten. Geringe Süße mit grasig-fruchtigem Touch, süffig. Die geringe Karbonisierung lässt dem Hopfen auch zum Ende stark hervorkommen, etwas trocken, gut. 10/9/11/11/9/10

33 cL Bottle at home from COOP Sierre. Pours slighlty hazy golden/orange with a medium white head. Aroma has some tropical fruits, red fruits, flowers, bit of caramel. Taste has tropical fruits, some biscuit, caramel and a medium bitter finish. Medium body and carbo.

200ml draught at Cafe Sara. Patchy pearl white head over a hazy, warm golden body. Solid lacework on the glass. Ripe fruity nose, with malty sweetness. Blended taste of mild caramel malts, wheat, and ripe citrus. Hints of citrus peels to the ending. Rounded mouth feel. Decent partner to my mixed grill dish. (Oslo 04.09.2017).
