[3221-20100731] Bottle. Yeasty mild roasty aroma. Hazy, dark brown body with a quick foamy light tan head. Roast yeast flavour has a lingering yeast roast after. Medium-full body. Seems a little old.

(Bottle, 0.75 l, at Olutkellari Helsinki) The beer poured as dark brown and hazy. Head was really small. Aroma was quite sweet and also raisiny and malty. Palate was medium bodied. The flavours were malts, molasses, wort, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was really malty and bit roasty. This beer could have been better but especially the wort in the taste wasnt pleasing.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2010 (Tasted @ 05/21/2010) Bottled. Dark brown color with a non-lasting head. Chocolate and roasted malt on the aroma. Clean and a bit bitter taste with liquorice. Low carbonation on the palate. Could be better.

2010-07-31. Hazy dark brown with a small beige head. 3+ Modest aroma, musty malt. 6+ Flavour is similar, musty malt with light fruit. Dusty finish with a tangy malt character. 6+ Smooth average palate. Okay, bit disappointing as I was hoping for more. Bottle at ChrisOs Pre-GBBF Shindig 2010

Bottle @ Chrisos pre-GBBF Raise the Roof Tasting 10. Poured with a creamy, lasting beige head atop a dark brown body. Dark fruit, roasted malt and tea aromas. Same again on the tongue minus the tea with a toasty bitterness in the end. Soft palate with low carbonation on a light to medium body. Short bitterness in the finish, mostly sweet in all.
