Bier from Bierparadijs. Brown malty body with tan puffy head. Nose of malts and wheat. Taste of caramel, wheats, nice hops in the finish. Quite nice, par for the course for this brewery.

Colabrown beer with medium and blond head. Aroma is roasted, some dry spicyness and hints of fruits; different aroma than I expected, no dark fruits. Taste is similar than aroma, roastiness, malts, some drying spicyness. Almost dry, but some toffeeish sweetness in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, slippery to drink, medim carbonation but it soft. Quite dry, "easy" belgian ale; not a top-quality beer, but otherwise, there are nothing to complain.

Draft served in a tulip at 33 in St. Louis and mislabeled "LARULLES DUBBEL". Pours a deep, muddy brown color with a large, foamy beige head that takes a long while to settle. Aroma of earth, dusth, chocolate, overripe plums, some peppery spices and yeast. Flavor is also earthy and chocolaty, with some dry bready yeast and crackers. Medium-bodied, with a dry, earthy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Dubbel, Belgian ale, whatever, its a pretty unusual beer that I thought was fine but didnt leave me wanting more.

[3221-20100731] Bottle. Yeasty mild roasty aroma. Hazy, dark brown body with a quick foamy light tan head. Roast yeast flavour has a lingering yeast roast after. Medium-full body. Seems a little old.

(Bottle, 0.75 l, at Olutkellari Helsinki) The beer poured as dark brown and hazy. Head was really small. Aroma was quite sweet and also raisiny and malty. Palate was medium bodied. The flavours were malts, molasses, wort, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was really malty and bit roasty. This beer could have been better but especially the wort in the taste wasnt pleasing.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2010 (Tasted @ 05/21/2010) Bottled. Dark brown color with a non-lasting head. Chocolate and roasted malt on the aroma. Clean and a bit bitter taste with liquorice. Low carbonation on the palate. Could be better.

From the Bottle at Chris Os pre GBBF tasting, Kensal Rise 31/07/2010 Floral aroma. Amber coloured and hazy in appearance with a hint of bitterness in a very dry malt finish.

Bottle at ChrisOs "Raise the Roof" tasting, 31st July 2010. Very dark brown, hint of head. Sugary caramel flavour. Reasonably light palate but rather boring and flat.
