Draught at Delirium, Brussels. Dark and dried fruits, plum, dried fig, chocolate in the nose. Dark malt flavors, chocolate, dried fruits. Nicely roasted and well-balanced, though not as wonderful as their lighter colored beers. larsga (7540) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 8, 2011

On tap, shared with Finn at Delirium Café, Brussels. Tiny, fawn coloured head. Cloudy, dark brown body. Aromatic with chocolate malts mixed with fruits. Coffee and chocolate malts in flavour followed by herbal hops and a bittersweet finish. Well balanced brew that drinks well (Brussel, 07.05.2011). 0.75 l bottle at Old Brick’s Inn, Jyväskylä. Dark reddish brown color. The aroma and flavor is combination of raisins, prunes and tart fruitiness. Some chocolate, clove and pepper in the background. Slight sweetness, dryer than most brunes and dubbels, which is nice. Pleasant and drinkable.

Bottle. Very dark brown, average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, roasted malt and some licorice. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some roasted malt and alcohol. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, alcohol, and some roasted malt. Alcohol in the finish dries the sweetness – not so sweet brune, quite one-dimensional though. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAR 21, 2011
(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, dark brown colour with a beige and short foamy layer. Sweet toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel, a slightly vinous fruity touch and hints of alcohol. Sweet and shy roasty bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dark and slightly toasted malt character with caramel, bready notes and a tinge of dried fruits; sweet and slightly toasty malty finish with traces of dried fruits in the aftertaste. 02.III.11 pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAR 16, 2011

Bier from Bierparadijs. Brown malty body with tan puffy head. Nose of malts and wheat. Taste of caramel, wheats, nice hops in the finish. Quite nice, par for the course for this brewery. TET (3033) - Kaarina, FINLAND - FEB 5, 2011
Colabrown beer with medium and blond head. Aroma is roasted, some dry spicyness and hints of fruits; different aroma than I expected, no dark fruits. Taste is similar than aroma, roastiness, malts, some drying spicyness. Almost dry, but some toffeeish sweetness in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, slippery to drink, medim carbonation but it soft. Quite dry, "easy" belgian ale; not a top-quality beer, but otherwise, there are nothing to complain.
