75 cl bottle, shared. Dark amber colour with a fluffy, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, toasted notes, yeasts, fruits and spices. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes rather dry with yeasts, fruits and herbal earthy hops. Nice Christmas beer. The dryness help cutting trough the rich Christmas food.

Rocky beige head stayed well on a very active dark brown, opaque body. Vinous aroma, woody - almost like Barley Wine. Very airy in the mouth. Medium to thin body. Dry on the aft. Malty on the front with caramel, sugar, raisin & syrup. This changes on the back to a fruity, almost sour taste with red berries, earthy & slightly bitter. Having wrote all that, it definitely a "Christmassy" taste about it but maybe I can’t describe it properly!! Unusual, Excellent, Try It!

Coffee, dry woody, grassy, fruity, berrylike. Murky Brown colour, medium very creamy beige head, good amount of lacing. Salty, medium bite, light/medium sweetness, coffee, earthy yeastiness, grass, ABV well integrated. Medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, roasty finish. Solid.

75cl bottle thanks to ruigo. Dark brown reddish color. Nice beige head, very persistent. Medium carbonation, texture is oily to creamy. Medium body. Aroma is roasted malt, spicy, ginger, caramel, chocolate and dried fruits. Taste is very complex, but very well balanced, with some bitterness, sweetness, raisins, prunes and yeast. Aftertaste is long, sweet and also dry.

0.75 L bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Pours a bit murky brown to red, with a frothy to bubbly, slightly tan head. Sugar, wort, malt, some fruit and herbs and ester flavour. Sweet and a bit bitter ending. Medium body and carbonation. Good.

Pours a dark colour that light breaks through the edges. I’ll start from the end, because the after-taste is like red wine. The taste is about varnish and overripe fruits.

From the 750 ml. bottle. Reddish-brown pour with a modest, short lasting tan head. Big Belgian sweet caramel and candied sugar aroma with a sort of oily note on the nose. The body is medium to full. The taste is highly sweet with a notable bitterness to finish. But the sweetness is what sticks with me
