Plum and cherry aromas, opaque cherrywood color. Dark fruit flavor with balanced malts. Lighter than expected mouth feel.

On tap at Sharp Edge, deep amber with nice head, some toasted notes over a sweeet plum fruit. Ok for type but nothing special

sonnycheeba (6561) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 11, 2012
Tap. Pours deep ruby with a slight haze and thick, frothy off-white head; short retention and some lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, earthy hops, spice, and brown sugar. Flavor is balanced malt, hops, and esters; dry, slightly sweet finish. Medium body, carbonation, and warmth.

3.5
Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - FEB 4, 2012
On tap at Rustico. Served in what would best be descried as a stange. Pours a moderate amber-brown color with a moderate light tan head and good lacing. The nose had some dark fruit and malts plus some grapes and a light bit of spice. Flavor was dark fruits and semi-sweet malt. Medium body with good carbonation and a semi-dry finish. Good brew.

On draft at Sharp Edge Brasserie. Poured brown with splotchy chunks of lace. Flavor of sweet malt balanced with some raisin, plum, figs. Great balance, medium bodied. Solid winter offering.

marcot (770) - Campomorone, ITALY - JAN 14, 2012
Alla spina all’O Connor, molto belga al naso e in bocca, una classica birra di natale, niente di che

JanLaursen (3226) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2011
Bottled. A deep murky brown beer with a huge beige head. The aroma is malty and has notes of sugary dried fruits and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, prunes, dark fruits, malt, spices and a little noble hops. Body is medium, carbonation is average, texture is thick/oily. Dry finish. Good craftmanship, but coming from the brewey of Rulles Estivale, this is a disappointment.
