Tasting at Papsø
Hazy deep blond color. The aroma is hoppy and Belgian-spicy; but, original, it has an extreme earthy character, manure, usually found in English Golden Ales, thanks to the hops. Malt flavor, light residual sweetness, spicy, a lot of coriander, with light earthy touch, and quite strong bitterness. Vibrant and very good.

Cloudy amber with a medium off white head. Sweet and yeasty aroma with coriander and hoppy notes. Hoppy aroma with pine, grapefruits, yeast and malty notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Ungstrup (37557) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 3, 2010
Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of spices and lemongrass as well as lighter notes of malt and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemongrass, malt, straw, and other spices, leading to a dry lemony finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pour a hazy golden with an off-white haze. Spicy, hoppy nose. Medium body, sweet fruit and malts with a flowery and hoppy spiciness. Lightly astringent hop finish. 030410

Shared w/ SkyCop32. Picked it up at Mi orge - Mi houblon. Pours a hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, highly alcoholic, with a nice hop bite to it. I expected more hop action.

Bottle at St Neots Beer Festival ’10, courtesy of the good people from alesbymail.com. The products of the chocolatier for whom this beer was produced may eventually arrive on these shores. The beer was gold with a sweet slightly spicy aroma. Sharp hoppy finish bringing a soapy quality to the tastebuds. Pretty good.

Bottle from Alesbymail.com. Hazy-golden pour with a fluffy white head. Very hoppy nose. Plus aromas of citrus, herbs, wet grass. Crisp flavours of orange peel, lemon, pineapple. Quite a citrusy tang. Bitter finish with a hoppy bite. Good stuff.

750 ml bottle at Peiffeschof. Hazy golden yellow, big white head, fair lacing. Aroma of white pepper and lemon peel. Malt dominates the taste, but decent hops too. Pretty decent.

Bona questa, l’unica bella bevuta dello stand Interbrau; come faccio a riempire. Ah ecco fatto

ggaughan (100) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, LUXEMBOURG - FEB 5, 2010
The beer is a single hop (amarillo) pale ale. Beer pours a clear but deep colored golden body with a medium thickness, off white head with good lacing. The aroma was pleasingly citrus, piny with some malt tones as well. The first taste you get is of a really pure, single hop taste. Grapefruit and pine. Refreshing. There is also a sold malt backbone to the beer and some peppery notes on the tongue as well. Overall a well balanced beer that is refreshing and hoppy so worth checking out if you can find it.
