Light clear amber coloured beer with average carbonation and a small white head. Light fruity and hoppy hinted aroma. Full refreshing palate. Finish is light bitter sweet, smouth hoppy hinted with some fruity hoppy ending. Fin (10917) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2011
Bottle Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgie April 2011 consumed outside Frank (camper) at Camping Igueldo, Igueldo Nr San Sebastian, Basque Country, Northern Spain 03.07.11 Pours hazy amber with off-white head and with a distinct floral nose to this. Nicely fruity with warmth from the alcohol showing. Touch yeasty and with a little spice, I get cloves, there is a late bitterness and it is slightly numbing on the tongue. Leichter Klostein-Geruch. /5/6/5/6/5

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, yeast, fruits and hops. Made me learn a new word: Defenestration. onystrom (1334) - Magellan Hunter! - Skanderborg, DENMARK - MAY 7, 2011
Hazy golden color with fine head. Slightly sweet and much bitter hops. Not a beer you would use defenestration on... chrisv10 (18504) - DENMARK - MAY 7, 2011

My Bottom Line:
Rustic farmhouse yeastiness accompanies minty hop resins into a memorable finish in this fluffy and bready Belgian Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A lofty head of foam settles atop the cloudy amber.
-The fruity hop nose takes on herbal qualities when matched with the rusticity of the yeast.
-The hop bitterness is engaging (spicy, herbal, minty).
-The lean body is enlivened by the pillowy effervescence, making this quite drinkable.
-Citrusy hop angles add an additional dimension to the flavor profile.
-The hop signature and farm-y yeast become quite green as the beer warms, verging on the vegetal.
