bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 2, 2011
(750ml bottle) Pours a cloudy orange body with a spare off-white head. Aroma of apple, chocolate, caramel, florals, and light roastiness. Flavor of apple, yeast, earth, grass, light pine, and chocolate with a dry finish.

Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - APR 2, 2011
Bottle from bu11zeye. Light orange pour with little to no head. Aroma is spicy, a little tart, and light fruit. Taste is cinnamon, yeasty, old fruit, and really dry. Awkward, sourish finish.

Cavie (4718) - Arlington, Texas, USA - APR 2, 2011
Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Pours a cloudy orange color with some yellow highlights. No head or carbonation to speak of. Aroma is light cocoa, spicy hops and grains. Flavor is roasted malts, bitter chocolate. Light hops. Finishes dry and hoppy bitter. Interesting.

bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, clear orange color with light yeast aroma, flavors of sour woody chocolate, dry finish

In short: A yeasty, fruity, hoppy and refreshing golden Belgian ale. Very nice
How: Bottle 750ml. Exact age unknown but consumed about 3 months after receiving it through private importations. More than one year before expiration date.
The look: Cloudy dark-orange body. Large off-white head with good retention leaving lots of lacings. This is a good-looking beer
In long: Nose is yeasty with pleasant smooth fruity esters of apricots, tangerines and the likes as well as garden flowers. Body is light yet full and the carbonation is very lively. Taste is very yeasty, freshly baked toasted bread, Premium Plus™ salted crackers, tangerines, apricots, green tea. Hops are leafy, bit grapefruity and with a light tobacco character. Medium bitterness that sticks to the back of mouth for a long time with a tobacco leafs after-taste. Very well balanced and highly drinkable. Nothing spectacular here but overall this is a very enjoyable beer. Yet another 750ml I drank by myself. I had plans to drink less beer and do more sport. But my plans are just like me, they never work out.

Pours a cloudy light amber color with a thick white head. Appealing aroma of herbal, floral, citrusy hops with mild chocolate and yeast. Good flavor of herbal, floral, citrusy hops, yeast and mild chocolate. The body is medium with an oily texture and moderate carbonation. This is an interesting, hoppy, belgian beer.

750ml bottle from IPB.
Appearance : Deep orange with a big foamy head. Nice lacing.
Aroma : Fruity hops with nice citrusy notes. Nice malt. A little bit salty.
Taste : Nice hops and a bit spicy. Notes of wood maybe. Light chocolate.
Overall : Nice stuff. Quite drinkable. Chocolate is very subtle. I got some notes of wood (cedar maybe...). Quite spicy. Decent stuff.
