Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, grapefruiy, moderate yeasty, spicy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081025]

LCRBM08: 75 cL bottle, courtesy of SHIG. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild yeasty/spiced with a light caramel malt note. Smooth caramel malty and light spiced yeasty initial flavour. Light citrusy too. Smooth caramel and yeasty spiced finish. Nice and easy, one of my favorites Belgian brewers.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of spices and lemongrass as well as lighter notes of malt and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemongrass, malt, straw, and other spices, leading to a dry lemony finish.

Bottled (thanks Shig!). Amber colour, huge yellowish beige head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is sweet malts, quite strong on the wood as well as mild spices and fruityness. Flavour is fruits, some hops, sweet malts and spices. Quite big bitterness in the finish.

Bottled, thanks fiulijn(?)! Hazy amber, small head. Fruit floral nose. Dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Slenderish and quite hoppy. Elegant with some marzipan and slight touch of wood. Salty bitterish finish. Subtle and harmonious.

Very hazy amber beer, good white head. A little fruit in the nose. Minerally dryness. Fresh creamy malt, mildly tangy. Nice balance with mildly bitter orange hops. Semi dry finish. Pretty good - very drinkable.
