Draft @ CML Fontainas – hazy murky fox brownish, creamy off-white head. Smell is very hoppy, the kind of hop levels I would like to see in IPA’s, earthly, grapefruit, light cheese, peaches and some pine. Hoppy grapefruit taste, touch sweet pine, touch toffee, bitter punch, peach skins, nectar, touch oranges, pine bitter in the back, USA hops. Nicely full but not too full body. This is how I would like to see IPA’s – beautiful stuff, my perfect level of hopiness, like fresh Orval…

schiuma persistente ambrato carico gusto vellutato, caramello dolce e terrosa leggermente agrumata e ben bilanciata con un amaro che viene su piano come di radici

On tap at 499 Altius, Verzago. Amber with cream head, soft hoppy aroma balanced with malty caramel belgian style. Light bitter finish, leaves clean taste. Very drinkable

Bottle, 75 cl. (bought @ Vanden Bussche) Hazy amber color, beige creamy head. Aroma fruity hops, some yeast notes, malts. Medium body. Taste begins sweet, good intense hops, little spice, malts and bit chocolate touch. Dry an bitter finish. GOOD !

The beer is a single hop (amarillo) pale ale. Beer pours a clear but deep colored golden body with a medium thickness, off white head with good lacing. The aroma was pleasingly citrus, piny with some malt tones as well. The first taste you get is of a really pure, single hop taste. Grapefruit and pine. Refreshing. There is also a sold malt backbone to the beer and some peppery notes on the tongue as well. Overall a well balanced beer that is refreshing and hoppy so worth checking out if you can find it.

My bottle at Craig’s Complex nose of peach, apricot, hazy amber colour, slightly pithy bitterness, with sweet and peppery saison style yeast notes. Nice

Dobre belgijskie Ale, Sygnowane Jean Chris. To piwo z oszczedna piana i sporym nagazowaniem ze stylowa i delikatna etykieta przypomina mi piwo kasztanowe z Amiaty. Kolor brazu podobny, zapach no i smak. Wrazenie takze mialem jak belgijski dobry saison.

Ysok02 (1564) - Mons, BELGIUM - DEC 30, 2015

Muddy amber, off-white, creamy head. Nose of caramel and spices. Complex and well balanced aroma. Moderately bitter, lightluy sweet flavour. Quite dry. Very nice, good complexity and balance.

Bottle from Alesbymail.com. Hazy-golden pour with a fluffy white head. Very hoppy nose. Plus aromas of citrus, herbs, wet grass. Crisp flavours of orange peel, lemon, pineapple. Quite a citrusy tang. Bitter finish with a hoppy bite. Good stuff.
