Pours hazy to murky golden amber with tall, frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, honey, citrus, tropical fruit. Taste is sweet, yeast and honey, with a boozy sweet finish. Light to medium full body with soft carbonation.

Shared bottle at home. Pours deep golden/light amber with big white head. Aroma of fruits, lemons, spices, rye, bananas, peaches, herbs. Tastes surprisingly bitter, almost astringent.

Buona, leggermente caramellizzata ma con il tocco tipico di de Rulles. Secondo me da non bere troppo fresca.

Bottle, started at 9C, liked it more as it warmed a little. Clear amber with a large white head that never disappears. Interesting aroma with slightly toasted malt and lots of fruit - dried, ripe, under-ripe; citrus, stone (apricots, sugar plums), tropical, pears. Some baldly sugary booze too. A big, fat, complex/possibly confused noseful. And then it’s a lot lighter-bodied than expected, although it’s certainly still sweet. I’ll withdraw "baldly" from "sugary booze" too. Medium low carbonation is very nice - just enough to lighten and no more. Sweet hay and some toasted notes, caramelized banana, intense citrus that seems almost sour, some herbs. Firm bitterness. Interesting beer - I don’t really understand how it’s so characterful despite being really very clean.

Davros (3290) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - AUG 13, 2015
Pours amber with a large fading head. Nose shows brown sugar, sultanas, soft booze, golden syrup, soft port notes and spicy phenols. Similar flavours: golden syrup, booze, dried fruit.

Pours a pale amber body with a medium head. Very nice yeasty aroma with a hoppy hint. Rich taste with farmish tones. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber with a foamy head. Peach, tea and yeast in the aroma. Dried apricot, yeast and tea feature in the hoppy and sweet taste. A bit hard on the alcohol but overall a very good beer
