Theydon_Bois (19198) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2016
Bottle split at Islo tasting, cheers to Dave Wingmane, 04/10/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is melon, straw, orange marmalade, bread, light yeast esters, grassy. Taste comprises airy malts, caramel, tangerine, grass, light spice. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a schmack of booze. A touch harsh and rough around the edges for me.

The_Osprey (7881) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2016
October 2016 - Bottle share at CBC Islington. As ’La Rulles Triple’, 8.4%, currently a top 50 abbey tripel. Many thanks to Dave! Dark matte golden yellow, hazy with a huge foamy dense white head, full lacing. Aroma is airy, minty, soap and crackers. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is smooth sugary malts, spicy, crackers, touch of booze, crisp. A tasty tripel which grew on me. (3.5)

Scopey (14511) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2016
Bottle at the JK London tasting. It pours cloudy amber with a thick white head. The aroma is earthy, woody, cereal, touch of paper, apple, pear and cracker. The taste is soft, sweet, sugary, some alcohol boost, cracker, paper, earthy, cereal, touch of spice, wood nougat and bread. Medium+ body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent example of the style. Its just a shame the style ain’t that great...!

rubyroo (146) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 23, 2016
Aroma is lemon, booze, orange, Carmel, dank. Appearance is a hazy orange with a thin sheet of foam and some chunky lacing. Taste is lemon, orange, Carmel, skunk, pepper, yeast. Palate is medium bodied with some sweetness in the front and and dry bitter finish. Overall- a decent tripel, more hops than most but not unbalanced.

Bouteille 75 cl. Mousse à fines bulles relativement persistante. Robe : orange ambrée très belle. Nez : agrumes, ananas, malt, ... Goûts : orange, sucre en quantité adéquate, épices (poivre), amertume moyenne. Bière ronde, gouleyante et rafraîchissante. Un des tout bons produits de la brasserie.

ForlornHope (513) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2016
Bottle at home. Clear golden colour with a rocky white head that subsides a little. Not a massive hop-bomb but the aroma is very attractive: resinous yet floral. The taste has the requisite tripel sweetness but this is backed with a huge bitterness. Flavours of yeast spicyness, vanilla and juicy malt and fruit. Rich mouthfeel, a slight sugary backtaste and a long bitter, dry finish. Reveals more nuances with every sip. Excellent.
