Looks and smells like a Belgian brune, hints of prune and molasses. Sweet, but flavor is on the light side, not much palate either in taste or mouthfeel, No hint at the 6% ABV either. Easy to drink, not heavy, but not memorable either.

Bottle at MC Zurich. Pours cloudy brown. Aroma is metallic, Christmas spices, cinnamon. Body is rather light, still spicy, with a pleasant sweetness and hotness. Crisp carbonation, killing flavours. Dry carbonated palate. Not bad, but a bit boring.

The beer has got a hazy orange-amber colour with a low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and spices. taste of malt, bread, spices and herbs. Spicy-malty finish with hints of oranges.

Bon corps. Ca passe

Thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing! Cloudy in the glass, fruity nose. The beer starts fruity, smooth, fresh. Orange and spices. The aftertaste is mild, fresh, orange with spices and nearly no bitterness. Nice!

Bouteille 50 cl d’Intermarché - Les Hôpitaux-Neufs (F).

nondescript amber. Estery fruity, but not exciting . Didn’t even know it was a herb/spiced beer.

(bottle) Foggy and murky amber colour with loads of ugly floaties and a short and tanned foamy head. Slightly sweet and delicately sour-fruity aroma with notes of gingerbread, cinnamon and other x-mas spices. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light body, calm on carbon. Mildly toasted malty taste with notes of caramel, gingerbread, cinnamon and other spices; mildly sweet and balanced bitter finish, again with Christmas-spicy notes. Okay. 10.X.12

Soft malty chewy nose. Soft body - caramel, gooey malt, smooth and well balanced. Soft mineral finish. Decent and quite enjoyable. Cheers TimE.
