0.5l bottle from strasbourg biere import. pours a cloudy dark chestnut with a medium tan head and some lacing. aroma of hops, roasted malts, leather. flavour of nuts, cola, rye bread. quite dry. I’d say it is a schwarzbier and not a dubbel, but what do I know. not bad as a schwarzbier. GvanGool (99) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 28, 2016
Bought a bottle with label "la biere de l'oncle Hansi" with a nice image of Hansi. This is the saint-Pierre Brune.
A strong odour of sugar sirup. The taste is by far not as sweet as the smell of the beer. The taste is flat and does not stay for long in the mouth.
Little acud fresh yeast taste.

Une bière brune surprenante avec une belle mousse. En bouche, des arômes de café et de caramel. stouby (4666) - Holbæk, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2015
Bottle in Bergheim. Brown with a light brown head. Aroma medium malty (caramel, roasted, chocolate). Flavor medium sweet and bitter, chocolate. Medium body. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 8, 2015
Simple brown malts, mellow brown bread, fruity yeast. Watery taste, but it’s okay I suppose. But like a Dunkel that’s poorly made and with fruitier yeast. I don’t care much for it. (50cl bottle from Auchan Saint Cyr sur Loire)

Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, caramel, sugary tart, berry notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle @ French Oktoberfest Tasting Ulfborg, 2012. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head. Tart fruit and dark dried fruit. Ash and earth. Thin. Shit!
