Tropical fruits, unripe mango, passion fruit, papaya, sweet citrus fruits, tangerine, pepper. Clear, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More citrus and tropical fruits, unripe, bitter tangerine and mango, some passion fruit, wet straw, light floral notes, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Alright. Keg at The Local Taphouse, Sydney.

Can 330ml (BB July 2018). Hazy, golden colour. White, minimal head. Delicate lacing. Aroma is fresh, spicy like pepper, a little bit fruity with delicate, floral note from hops and small yeasty funk note behind. It's intense, typical for saison, very nice. Beer is light body even watery with spicy taste characteristic for used yeast and a little bit sweet and astringent finish but beer is rather dry than sweet. It very good sample of "light" saison especially for summer, hot day.

330ml can. Big citrus nose. Medium body with a long palate. Slight pepper and hop flavours. An almost lactic mouth feel.

Very nice and sophisticated brew. A lot happening and all round very pleasing. A different variation on the style.

Pours a clear light amber with big loose rocky white head that defies physics to last. Aroma is floral hops, pine, and touch of citrus peel, quite refreshing. Flavour is sweet, light on malt, pine, fruit juice like, moving to drier bitterness finishing with sourness - interesting mix. Medium body, touch watery, but oily on back, moderate length to finish. Easy to drink, flavoursome, would drink again.

330mL can, BB Dec 2017. $4 Appearance: Hazy golden yellow. White dense head drops to a broken film. Great lacing. Aroma: Potent apricot, peach, lemon, hay, a little funk. Unsure if hops or ester. Taste: Tasty aforementoned fruits, vinous, and a little yeasty funk. Light malt base. Dry and strong/harsh bitter finish (unbalanced). Palate: Moderate carbonation (great), viscous body. Overall: Interesting fruity local take on the saison style. Like in between a pale ale and a saison. Let down by its unbalanced bitterness.

Hazy light yellow with plenty of head. Looks active. Quite a tart aroma, yeast and fruit too though. Which is a decent indication of taste. More sour than expected, definitely farmhouse. Nice and pale too, citrus fruits. Very, very refreshing and quaffable.

beer-yum (1890) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 17, 2017
Alluring citrus aroma in a light gold pour. Laid back hop forward balance with a funky fruit body and spicy finish. A different take on the style (hoppy saison) - deliciously so.

Earthy, refreshing and finishes bitter, I love it! Pours a cloudy golden colour with a solid white head, citrus aroma, along with tropical fruit characteristics, finished with a light bitterness to the tongue , medium body lively carbonation, I’ll say it again - refreshing!
