Funky tart aroma in a hazy yellow gold pour. Restrained sour taste with hints of other fruits as well as grape. Nicely balanced beer - and one that would appeal to a wine drinker I suspect. Davros (3338) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 15, 2017
Pours gold with a quickly fading head.
Nose shows fruity red wine notes, farmhouse characters, raspberries and cherries.
Flavours include a fair bit of funk, red wine notes, cherries, lemon, raspberries and blackberries. hawthorne00 (4190) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUN 4, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 28, 2017 Bottle, 8C. Hazy gold with a white head that fizzes away to nothing as it’s poured. 3- Bright funky aroma with underripe stone fruit, Germoline, grape skins. Sour with lactic slipperiness. Fruit - not obviously grapes, but unripe peach, nectarine, wild strawberries, lemons - with some rustic grain, then sour funk and some bracken take over. Is it a bit tannic at the end or is that suggestion? Good.[3.8]
Gold. A little column of bubbles in a Duvel glass but no head at all. diffs: no medicinal notes. Woody, not tannic at the end. Dry there. Caged sunshine.
