COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
La Socarrada is a "gastro-ale," or food-pairing golden ale made with only, water, malts (pils/amber), hops, yeast, rosemary, and rosemary honey. La Socarrada pours a beautiful golden-amber color with a light, white, non-persistant head. The nose is wonderfully appetizing, filled with rosemary, rosemary-honey, and a light bread-like quality. The taste is full of rosemary, rosemary honey, and fruity characteristics along the lines of pear, apple, and fig. There is also a distinct gingery bite as well as a light note of black pepper. The body is both crisp and pleasantly dry. It is recommended to be served around 45° in a white wine glass or snifter.

Acaro (370) - Madrid, SPAIN - APR 10, 2018
Aroma: Radler lemon notes. Appearance: Dark gold color and clear liquid with rocky white head. Taste: Medium sweetness with light bitter notes. Palate: Light body with oily texture and soft average carbonation. Sweet honey finish. Overall: Leaves a soft honey memory, not too sweet but gives a contrast to the bitter touch. Goes with salad and snacks.

Muddy brown, frothy beige head. Honey, cardboard, and herb garden. Very muddled, slightly sour. Unique, in the worst way. Drain pour.

malibrat (264) - Pula, CROATIA - MAR 6, 2018
UPDATED: MAR 6, 2018 Pivo u flaši. Aroma sladna i cvijetna. Taj ružmarin se baš ne osjeti previše. Okus je sladan i slatkast baš ono 'medast'. Tijelo nije pregusto i lagano gazirano. A ne znam ...liči mi ko neki Golden Ale samo slađi i mirišljaviji. Teško da će te ovo pivo probati , osim ako vam ga neko slučajno ne donese iz Španjolske.

dorain (857) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAR 3, 2018

bilcho1 (335) - Ruse, BULGARIA - JAN 15, 2018
330ml bottle from the shop, drunk at home. Pours thickly cloudy with a short-lived frothy head, lacing but no bead. Aroma of rosemary with hints of green apple. Lively at first in the mouth but no development; it soon feels soapy and sour and never really fills the mouth with either texture or flavour. Quite sweet with gentle bitterness mixed in with the sourness. Overall, unusual and good in parts, but sadly lacking in others.

imdownthepub (15874) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2017
Bottled, 330ml from R. Campbell & Sons, Leyburn, N.Yorks. Amber with short lived white head. The honey is pretty dominant in this, both on the nose and in the flavour, really quite sweet and sticky. It is herby with rosemary with also a note of spruce. Not a great beer but it's okay.

tomandoaltura (363) - - NOV 21, 2017
El color es ámbar y el aroma es claramente herbáceo y con notas de malta caramelo. Se nota la presencia del romero en boca y el amargor resulta ligero, dándole el equilibrio necesario. Cuerpo medio.

Neutral beer, what a pity my god. Three times I tasted it. And yet another one bites the dust.

ManVsBeer (11958) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2017
Bottle @ Bar Bodega, Liverpool. Cloudy amber with a carbonation and a hoppy-fruity-floral nose. Rosemary is dominant in its taste and it lingers.
