My first Beer from Spain. Oh my. This is not good. Looks ok but downhill from there. Smells like Fresca. Tastes worse. The bottle blew up when opened. Watery and thin.

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Gusher! After the fountain settled it poured hazy amber with an off-white head. Spicy aroma with cardamom, some yeasty anf fruity notes and hints of ginger and pepper. Medium sweet with spicy flavours a a fairly mild bitterness. Decent stuff, quite Christmassy and fairly tasty. On bottle from El Corte Ingles, Bilbao. Hazy golden color, lots of foam- extreme gusher! ( 1/3 of bottle disappeared after opening). Medium aroma intensity; spices specifically cardamom & cinnamon, some fruitiness. Medium body & complexity. Some sweetness, ok balance. Pretty good beer venom666 (1010) - Elche, Alicante, SPAIN - NOV 28, 2014
Hazy amber color with medium white head. Medium carbonation. Aroma is rich in rosemary, peppermint, honey and sweet malts. Taste goes in the same way as the aroma. Sweet and dry finish. The problem is that the rosemary overpowers both aroma and flavour, making the beer extremely unbalanced. Anyway, is drinkable and unique. Filipbeer (164) - - NOV 10, 2014
I dont like the rosemary note at all, it is not well-integrated in the aroma of this beer. Other secondary notes are: caramel, bread and clove. Mouthfeel is a bit watery. Aspect and flavor are ok but rosemary aroma spoils the quality of this beer.

Hazy golden colour. Poor head, no retention or lacing. Very floral, spicy aroma. Rosemary and ginger in both aroma and flavour. Pretty balanced. However, in general, what is interesting and intriguing in aroma doesn’t work that well in taste. Plenty of vegetable, spice notes. Moderate bitterness. Difficult to rate, this style isn’t really my cup of tea. Niall73 (2432) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 2, 2014
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Light honey, light herbs, grass aroma. Light body, light to medium carbonation. Light honey, floral stuff, light lavender, lemon, light rosemary, hint of caramel. It works pretty well. OK. cervmagpt (809) - PORTUGAL - SEP 16, 2014
Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 21A). Bottle 33 cl - batch L020216. AROMA: very interesting subtle rosemary aroma mixed with a sweet honey and malt profile. slight DMS present. Very faint hop aromas. APPEARANCE: golden orange color with particles in suspension. thin ivory head with low retention. TASTE: unbalanced rosemary flavours that overpower the base beer style. very low bitterness and very faint malt and honey flavours. very low esters. finishes medium-dry with some astringency. PALATE: thin body with low carbonation and some astringency. OVERALL: a nice and inventive approach to a spice/herb beer that lacks a bit more of balance between the herbs and the base ale. totoro76 (25) - Madrid, SPAIN - SEP 1, 2014
Bottle from Marketplace Alehouse and Deli, Doncaster. Cloudy, orangey amber. Film of white head. Juicy malt. Oily herb. Light fustiness. Taste is dry, and light bitter. More oiliness on the palate. Finish is medicinal, herbal, and dry. Bit of an oddity.
