Thought I was actually buying a Belgian Trappist, not true, taste is very indicative of the the strong ABV with an alcohol aftertaste, average taste but overall was disappointed especially considering the price tag $45/case

kapusil (1560) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 6, 2018
0.33l bottle. Clear golden body with a huge white head and vigorous carbonation. After checking the aroma, I thought it's a kristallweizen for a second, because it also has pronounced bubble gum and banana notes, but actually it's much more spicy (coriander) than beers of the mentioned style. Some sugar syrup and hay is also present. Taste is similar to the aroma with notes of hay, bubble gum, sugar syrup, coriander and banana. Medium bodied with really high carbonation. The finish is also sweetish, but there is also a tiny bit of spicy hops to it. Very nice Belgian blond.

Pours dark golden, slightly hazy, rich head, good lacing. Aroma of yeast, spices, apricot. Similar in taste, medium body and carbonation. Slight bitter, fruity, spicy aftertaste. Very good.

Zlotta (4139) - Hagen, GERMANY - JAN 1, 2018
0.33 l bottle from local 'REWE', bottled in July 2017. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, dense, stable, white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of apricot, vanilla, Belgian candy and some clove. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of Belgian candy, apricot, vanilla, some banana and a touch of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-dry rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Decent Blond, a bit too sweet though, could be hoppier.

Butelka 0,75 l. Wypita 01.01.2018. Barwa jasno miedziana, lekko zmętniona. Piana bardzo słaba, szybko opada. Aromat delikatnie miodowy.

W smaku kwaskowe, owocowe, czuć trochę piwnicy i przypraw.
